Kalasatama Temporary

Kalasatama Temporary is a on-going project for the temporary uses and public art in Kalasatama, site of a former harbor in Helsinki.

Part started working on Kalasatama in the spring of 2009. First we did research work concerning people´s dreams and hopes concerning the area, then slowly started implementing suitable ideas in reality.

In June 2010 the area was officially opened to the public. During summer of 2010 urban gardening, open-for-all graffiti fence and various events achieved great interest and success. The project continues.
